"We", "us" and "Mobile Tyre Fitter 247" refer to the mobile tyre and roadside business trading as Mobile Tyre Fitter 247, based at 24 Anson Green, Newport, Gwent, Wales NP19 9GN. 2. What we collect
We only collect data you give us, or that is strictly necessary to operate the site:
- Enquiry information — name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, service location and a description of the job when you use the quote form or contact us by phone or email.
- Job records — vehicle registration, tyre size and brand fitted, date, time and location of the work carried out, kept for accounting and manufacturer-warranty purposes.
- Payment information — card payments are handled at the kerb by a regulated payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number. Cash and bank transfer payments are recorded only against the invoice.
- Technical data — standard server-side request information (IP address, browser, pages viewed) used only for site security and basic analytics.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and quote for the job.
- To attend site, carry out the work and issue a receipt or invoice.
- To support any manufacturer tyre or parts warranty claim.
- To meet UK legal and accounting record-keeping obligations.
- To keep the website secure and functioning.
The legal bases we rely on are performance of a contract (quoting and carrying out work you asked for), legal obligation (accounting and tax) and legitimate interests (site security and administration).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with third parties where we have to in order to run the business:
- Our card payment provider, in order to take payment at the kerb.
- Our website and hosting infrastructure provider, which processes the technical request data described above.
- HMRC and our accountant, where required for tax and accounting.
- Insurers and any regulatory body where we are legally required to disclose.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from the last contact. Job and payment records are kept for 6 years from the date of the invoice in line with UK accounting requirements. After those periods, records are deleted or anonymised.
6. Cookies
This site uses only strictly necessary cookies required to make the site work. We do not use advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics or third-party cookies in future we will update this policy and add a cookie banner asking for your consent first.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to erase your data where we are not required to keep it.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
