A genuine 24/7 roadside dispatch: one van, one fitter, the tyre and tools already loaded before we leave. We diagnose on arrival, fit a matched replacement on the shoulder or in the layby, torque to spec, and get you moving.

Driving on a run-flat that isn't
Most cars don't have runflats. Trying to limp home on a deflated tyre destroys the sidewall, the rim, and often the wheel-speed sensor — turning a £120 tyre bill into a £600 wheel bill.

Where we operate roadside
M4 J23–J32 (Newport, Cardiff, western Bristol), M5 J14–J25 (Gloucester through Taunton), M32, M48 across the Severn Bridge, A470 up to Brecon, A465 through the Heads of the Valleys, and A48 through Chepstow into Gloucestershire. Also all A- and B-road roadside call-outs across Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, Gloucester, Swansea, Taunton, Hereford, Brecon and Chepstow.
REACT-licensed roadside operations
REACT is the industry roadside recovery accreditation covering roadside vehicle-recovery safety on live carriageways: high-visibility standards, scene management, vehicle positioning, chock and lighting placement, working-side awareness and driver behaviour on the hard shoulder. Our roadside work is carried out under that licence, which is why we can operate on motorway shoulders where non-licensed fitters legally cannot.
Cars, vans, taxis, courier fleets
The overwhelming majority of roadside call-outs are for cars, vans up to 3.5t and taxi vehicles. Common sizes travel with us; less common runflats and van-specific load-rated casings are sourced from local suppliers before dispatch to avoid a wasted first visit. Answers to what drivers actually ask.
How quickly can you get to me on the M4 or M5?
From our Newport base, typical arrival on M4 J23–J28 is 20–35 minutes; Cardiff and central Bristol 30–45 minutes; further west/east of that, closer to an hour depending on traffic.
How much does an emergency roadside call-out cost?
A call-out fee applies on top of the tyre and fit — always quoted up front before we leave. Overnight and public holiday rates apply for calls between 10pm and 6am.
Do you accept card payment on the roadside?
Yes — contactless and chip-and-pin card, cash, and bank transfer are all fine. Digital receipt is sent to your phone.
What if the tyre size is unusual?
If we haven't got it on the van we source it from a local supplier before dispatch. We don't leave then hunt for a tyre — that just wastes your night.
Are you licensed to work on the motorway hard shoulder?
Yes — we hold a REACT licence covering roadside recovery on live carriageways, which is what allows us to operate on motorway shoulders where non-licensed fitters legally cannot.
Can you fit a spare wheel instead of a new tyre?
If your car has a viable full-size or space-saver spare and you'd prefer, we can fit it — but space-savers are speed- and distance-limited, so we usually recommend a full replacement.
Do you attend HGVs or coaches?
Not currently — we cover cars, vans and light commercials up to 3.5t. For HGVs you'll need a commercial roadside operator.
Do you charge if I cancel before you arrive?
If we haven't left, no. Once dispatched, a partial fee applies to cover the driver's time — we tell you that on the call, not after the fact.
